AUTUMN DIXON

Dance teacher since 2014, Studying in Education at McGill University

For Autumn, her dance journey began at age five when she was put into gymnastics and couldn’t stop making up her own floor routines. This love for movement eventually led her to transition into the dance world. She first spent one year practicing dance competitively at Imperium and then did two years at Ballet Montreal Dance School where she was trained in ballet, contemporary and jazz. She immediately fell in love with the contemporary style and this led her to joining the Sonia Balazovjech Dance Company where she currently practices dance. This is her second year teaching at Imperium. This year she will be teaching recreational ballet, lyrical, acro and contemporary. Autumn absolutely loves teaching and spending time with students. She is currently studying education at McGill University and is absolutely loving it. Imperium’s amazing members and welcoming atmosphere drew her in and is why she loves her job.
