Preschool program and initiation to the dance world for little ones (18 months to 5 years old)

Our preschool program offers children and their families a magical introduction to the world of dance! It includes three distinct classes tailored to different age groups: Parent & Cub for ages 18 months to 3 years, a parent-child class that does not participate in the year-end show; Cubs in Motion for 3-year-olds, which includes participation in the year-end show; and The Roaring Stars of Imperium for ages 4 to 5, who also take part in the year-end performance.

18 months to 3 years old

Parent & Cub

Designed exclusively by Studio de danse Imperium, our Parent & Cub class is the ideal introduction to movement and dance for toddlers. This 14-week program is thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of young children, combining fun, learning, and connection. Each 45-minute class invites caregivers to actively participate alongside their little one through cooperative movement games, playful props, and the joy of structured dance activities.

3 years old

Cubs in Motion

Styles offered: Creative Ballet, Creative Hip Hop

Designed exclusively by Studio de danse Imperium, Cubs in Motion offers young children a dynamic and playful environment to grow and thrive. Through creative movement and dance, little ones develop balance, coordination, and gross motor skills, while also building social connections and strengthening language and cognitive abilities. It’s movement with purpose, wrapped in fun!

4-5 years old

The Roaring Stars of Imperium

Styles offered: Acro, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz/Tap Combo

In this exclusive program, created by Studio de danse Imperium, we focus on 8 main objectives: gross motor skills development, social and emotional development, memory and language skills, tempo and spatial awareness, as well as stage performance. This program has its own mascot, Lenny the Lion, and contains various unforgettable activities planned throughout the year to make sure each child and their family experience an amazing introduction to our beautiful dance world!
