Musical Theatre Program

New to the program since 2022, the Musical Theatre program at Imperium allows participants of 9 and over to discover core elements of musical theatre such as dancing, acting and singing. Participants will learn dance choreographies, all while practicing performance and interpretation, like on Broadway. This program also teaches them the process of putting on a musical theatre production. These dancers have the opportunity to work with theatrical and performance techniques, as well as receive technical training in the musical theatre style.  Under the artistic and technical direction of our staff, the troupe will present a piece lasting around 45 minutes in June. If your objective (or your child’s objective) is to improve at a faster pace, we recommend to register for at least one extra class (jazz dance highly recommended).
